Stanford Tennis Photos: Maria Sharapova vs Olga Govortsova
Maria Sharapova set up a quarterfinal meeting with Elena Dementieva at the Bank of the West Classic after defeating Olga Govortsova, 63 63 in the second round yesterday.
This was the first time that Sharapova played Govortsova and despite of losing her serve in the opening game, she got her mojo back right away to make it past the Belarusian in straight sets and into the quarterfinals.
